Questions
Choosing how to advertise
What kinds of advertising does Living Local Magazine sell?
Four: an ad in the magazine itself, a pop-out insert (8.5″ × 11″ on thicker gloss), a bookmark insert (5.5″ × 11.5″ on postcard stock) and a half price postcard (5″ × 8.25″) that mails on its own.
What is the difference between a pop-out insert and a bookmark insert?
Size, paper and how many share the issue. A pop-out is a two-page 8.5″ × 11″ insert on thicker gloss, with at most two in an issue; a bookmark is a single 5.5″ × 11.5″ card on postcard stock, printed on both sides, and only one goes in each issue.
Which Living Local option does not go inside the magazine?
The half price postcard. It is a two-sided 5″ × 8.25″ card that mails separately from the magazine, to the same list of homes.
How many inserts go into one issue of Living Local?
Three at the most: no more than two pop-out inserts and a single bookmark insert.
